The Story of Batesville Community Theatre

Since 1971, Batesville Community Theatre has been a cornerstone of the arts in Batesville, Arkansas, bringing stories to life on stage for more than 50 years. From classic plays and beloved musicals to original revues, youth theatre camps, and community showcases, our productions have entertained, inspired, and connected audiences across generations.

Each season adds to our ongoing legacy of creativity, learning, and shared experiences, made possible by the passion of our performers, volunteers, and supporters. What began as a small community effort has grown into a vibrant theatre organization that continues to enrich the cultural life of Batesville.
